Pros: affordable, clear bass (with bass control), clear satellites, design

Cons: controller not mounted on speakers

I have recently purchased these speakers for 49.95. They are worth every penny. Great sound and design, with the aspect of affordability. Not only are they great for music on a computer, but also for those who have a smaller television and would like to use them for enhanced sound for dvds or video games. The bass is clear and rich, the satellites are nicley designed with good sound. there are only 2 drawbacks: the controller is a little flimsy and is a pain if you want volume control on the speakers, and when turned up to extreme volume, a little buzzing sound becomes apparent. Would recommend these to anyone looking for an affordable set of PC speakers with good sound. However, if you have a giftcard for $80 or more to a store that sells PC speakers, then upgrade to the Altec 4.1 or another 5.1 dolby digital system.
