| BAK1986's Full Review: Creative Technology Nomad Jukebox (32 MB) MP3 Play... |
When I first got involved in MP3s, I was totally lost. There were so many players, each with unique pros and cons, making it difficult to decide which player was right for me. That confusion ended when I came upon the Creative Labs Nomad Digital Audio Player. It has 32 megabytes of onboard memory, plus an additional 32 megabyte flash memory card. It is the smallest MP3 player on the market, and also the lightest. It is encased in sleek and stylish magnesium, rather than the brittle plastic of the Diamond Rio 500. The price of the two is almost the same, with the Diamond Rio 500 being about $20 more expensive. I got my Nomad at Buy.com for only $200, despite it's retail price of $249. Another advantage of the Nomad is it's built in digital FM radio. The Rio 500 doesn't have a radio. The Nomad also has a superb digital voice recorder built in, another feature that the Rio 500 lacks. The only complaint I have is that there is no clip on the Nomad to attach it to a belt. BUY THIS PRODUCT!
