Pros: Small; plays FM radio; rechargeable battery.

Cons: : Leather case makes it hard to use.

We've been waiting since last May's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles to get our hands on the Nomad from Creative Labs. The industry buzz had us suspecting this MP3 player would topple the competition. And it's lived up to our expectations for the most part, but it's not the one-size-fits-all portable audio solution we expected. Still, FM radio, voice recording, and multiformat playback put the Nomad at the forefront of the newer MP3 players.
My bottom line:The bottom line: If you don't mind pushing buttons through plastic, this is the player to buy right now: the price is right, and FM radio and voice recording are nice extras.
