Pros: portable, affordable, lots of memory

Cons: bad cradle, slow transfer rates

I bought this product because my cd player had broken and i wanted a no skip music format. I have been extremely satisfied with the players performance and I use it often. First, it is incredibly small and anyone could carry it in their pocket. Second, the headphones work extremely well. I think that one of the best things about this player is that the bundled software allows you to convert cd's to mp3's very quickly. The one major downside is that you have to hold the nomad into the cradle or it won't transfer.
Bottom line: buy if you are looking for an affordable solution but if you have slightly more money buy the nomad 2 mg
