Pros: Portable, easy to use, memory expandable
Cons: It will die without provocation or cause!
The Bottom Line: It will stop working for no reason and should be avoided unless you want to buy a new one every six months.

| mcolic's Full Review: Creative Technology Nomad II (32 MB) MP3 Player |
Although the product is easy to use, compact and light it was built NOT to last. The product comes with a ninety day warranty but it is designed to stop working shortly after the warranty period expires.
My first one died unexplainably 20 days after the warranty period expired. I sent it back to Creative Labs and they could not fix it. The allowed me to by a new on e for a discounted $85. How generous.
The second one lasted longer (9 months) but it suffered the same fate. Unexplainable and sudden death.
I carry the player in a case at all times and I do not run so it is not jarred. I didn't harm the unit at all...it simply stopped working.
Although the unit is really slick it will eventually (and in the short term not long) stop working. Having to buy a new one every six months (on average) is not my idea of a quality product and caveat emptor to anyone looking into purchasing this product.
I also own the Nomad Jukebox and it also died without cause. Watch out!
