Crest Premium White Strips - worth it - and some tips for using them

Pros: Actually works! 7 or 14 days, Tons cheaper and less messy than other methods.
Cons: For some people there might be some pain - but the results are worth it!!
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend these. They work, they aren't messy, they don't taste bad and they were relatively cheap for what they accomplish.

I've heard these cause some pain, but for my wedding pictures, I thought it would be worth the sacrifice. It was. The first night I put them on I had some sensitivity in one tooth so I moved the strip slightly and the pain went away. I put them on in the morning on the way to work and brushed my teeth once I got to work. (The directions say that for best results you aren't supposed to use them on freshly brushed teeth.) For the nightly strips, I put them on as I was getting ready for bed and took them off right before I got into bed. It is amazing how quickly 30 minutes goes by when you aren't watching the clock.
When you open each strip, there is a little slit at one end of the plastic that allows you to bend the plastic so the strip comes off of it easier. (I didn't notice this until half way through the treatment.) This should help you grab the strip at the end so you can put in on your teeth.
After I put them on I used my fingernail to push the strips into the spaces around my teeth for a good fit and then pushed them down off my gums. This definitely alleviated any sensitivity on my gums that I had felt on the first day.
I bought the 7 day pack and used all of them. About one week after I was done, a friend (who didn't know I was using them and hadn't seen me in awhile) said that my teeth were super white and asked if I had them done! I too noticed a difference and I do recommend these. If you have super sensitive teeth, I would do the 7 day pack to cut down on the time that you use them. I think I paid roughly $25 at Target for these.
