Why crocs: I have seen people wear crocs before, but they didn't look quite appealing to me, so I never purchased a pair. When my baby was born and started walking, the time came...when I had to start buying her shoes. After several pair of shoes that only lasted a few weeks, I decided to look into crocs, mainly because other people have been saying how comfortable they are, especially for babies who run around a lot.

The cons:I purchase my kid's crocs for almost $20 (with a coupon!), which I think is way too much for little kids' every-day shoes. I would spend $20 for an adult pair of shoes, not kids...but I was determined to try crocs so I paid the $20.
The pros:The first thing that struck me was the color choices! It is unbelievable how many colors these things come in, it was almost too hard to decide...but I went with orange, since it's one of my favorite colors. Another thing I like about crocs is how easily you can put them on, that's important...especially when it comes to kids. Most parents will agree how painful it is to put shoes on little kids, but not with crocs - they slide right onto babies' foot, and actually stay there (unlike other shoes that slip right off when the baby starts walking/running). I must admit, even though my baby can't tell me if she is comfortable in them or not... I can tell she is. In fact, sometimes, she refuses to wear any other shoes but crocs, which tells me she likes them.
Final thought: So, even though I paid a lot for a little kid's pair of shoes, I do think it is worth the money. My daughter has been wearing her crocs for about 2-3 months now, and they are still in pretty good shape!
