The Bottom Line: I recommend this amp for anyone serious about sounding the best they can at a affordable price.

Crown XLS602A
Days of old for the quest for a high-power, clean sounding, reliable amplifiers that the “working class” musician could actually afford are over! Most everybody in a band from the 70’s & 80’s knew that the best power amps on the market were made from Crown International. But most of us couldn’t even begin to afford them. Resulting in buying other lower quality amp’s that just never really sounded all that great but hey, we had to play to pay the bills so we used what we could afford to get the job done.
Enter Crowns line of lower cost, high power XLS amps. The Crown XLS602A is 1680 watt (4ohm bridged) power house packed in to a light weight 2u chassis! It only weighs 27.2 pounds folks! Heck my dog weighs more than that!
The XLS602A is a simple “no frills” amp to use. You don’t have to be a degreed engineer to figure this thing out. On the front panel you have a power switch on, channel #1 volume, channel #2 volume, power led, Clip & fault lights. Hook up is simple! Channel 1&2 XLR inputs, Channel 1&2 banana connector outputs. Also output can be a speak-on connector. That it, no other messing around! Your rocking in minutes!

How does it sound?
The XLS602A has that famous tight, clean, clear Crown sound. Which in other words what you put into it (your band) will came out accurate!

That’s right, the XLS602A comes with that famous Crown 3-year no fault warranty as all the other legendary Crown products! That means you’re covered for 3 years of gigging dude!
Closing Comments
If you’ve been saving those pennies for a Crown amp, time to bust open the piggy bank! The XLS602A will give you rock solid Crown power whether you’re in a working club band or a working DJ. While gas prices, property taxes and inflation keep going up, it’s good to know that there are a few things you still can afford, and Crown has just become that must have thing!
