You know the old saying, If it aint broke Don't Fix it? Well Bugbear tried too hard and added too much to this game that actually makes it pretty unplayable. The Core of the Game is pretty much the same as the First, where you win races, get Money and buy upgrades. But Bug Bear added this God Awful Blooming effect where the crispness is replaced with Bright graphics as if the Sun went Supernova shining on the Racetrack. Another bad idea was adding the extra speed, it now handles more like a burnout game which would not be so terrible if not for the poor handling. Its hard to control the cars and end up crashing too often and once you do, you will have nearly no chance of winning the race. The music score are good and Bugbear did add explosions into the game which add to the chaos. If you owned the original you will realize quickly that the first one was way more fun as the control scheme and graphics were better.
As much As I wanted to like this title it was clear that it really was a case of trying to add too much ruining a great fun game.
