Pros: The food processor part works great
Cons: The blender's pouring spout is a real disappointment
The Bottom Line: Good product if you don't mind always pouring while standing over the sink after each blending job. I would expect more/better from Cuisinart.

We have been Cuisinart fans for years, but after purchasing the Cuisinart Stainless Steel Blender/Food Processor Combo, model number CB-600 FPPBCFR, we cannot tell you how disappointed we were. The design of the pouring spout of the glass blender attachment is really disappointing. The shape of the spout does not allow a clean pour, the liquid in the blender glass runs down the side no matter how neatly you try to pour. The liquid ends up pooling into the attachment ring at the base and then when you pour the next glass, the pooled liquid goes all over the counter, table, or what-have-you. If you buy this item, make sure you pour while standing over sink or you will be sorry.
It might as well not even have a pouring spout for all the good it does. What a mess. Perhaps the R & D department should try using these things before sending them to market. The rest of the unit works fine though, the mini chopper/food processor does what it should and is handy for small jobs. In fact, I like the feeding tube and top section of the food processor better than the large Cuisinart food processor due to the fact that you don't have to put together three different attachments before you can use the mini food processor. The safety features on the large units seem rather excessive, and the mini unit thankfully does away with those. I have not had any motor problems (yet), and I hope the motor continues to stay strong as we do a lot of chopping and blending.
