Pros: the blade is very sharp and I like the larger capacity bowl
Cons: Cuisinart Quality not present in the work bowl design/materials
This is my second Cuisinart processor. The first one lasted over 10 years with constant use. Cuisinart was like Kleenex. I never thought I owned a food processor - I owned a Cuisinart. (And I blow my nose with Kleenex)
My PC11 feed tube insert cracked where it latches within a month of purchase and now both of my work bowls (came with 2 at Costco) are cracked at the back where the casing for the spring safety latch goes into the machine.
I got the feed tube replaced for free but since both of the bowls also cracked I think the materials are inferior and I would have NEVER expected that from a Cuisinart product.
This new one is backwards is some ways to my previous Cuisinart and it gets confusing sometimes. I liked the old design better. If you have never used a Cuisinart before this wouldn't be an issue, most likely.
BTW - Already been three days since I emailed Cuisinart about the bowls and I still haven't heard back...
