It looked great and has a great brand name on it but a lot of the water boiled out between the top and the bottom long before the eggs were cooked - I wanted hard boiled eggs and got not even soft boiled and a big puddle of hot water all over my counter - I tried a couple of times, the top and bottom seemed to fit together properly but the water boiled so hard it essentially boiled over faster than the eggs could cook. 

By comparison the EggGenie works beautifully - it's made of plastic but it cooks perfect eggs every time.
