gljwitte's Full Review: Cuisinart DGB-600 10-Cup Coffee Maker
I received this coffee maker in December of 2003 as a present. I love it! I'm a coffee addict ! Before this I would purchase the whole beans and grind them separately.Somehow I always managed to make a huge mess on the counter with the grounds before I even got them in the machine, so this product was perfect for me. I always get hot delicious coffee.
I will agreee with other reviews that it takes some time to clean all the components but it takes time to clean any coffee maker. It has never bothered me much. I haven't had any problems with leaking or pouring from the caraffe.
Well I did have a small glitch this December, after using it 3-4 times a day for 2 years the motor for the grinder quit working. I was quite upset but prepared to buy a new one. I have never had a coffee maker last longer than 10-12 months so I felt I had gotten my money's worth. Out of curiosity I called Cuisinart to see about repair. I no longer had the receipt but it was no problem . Cuisinart said they honor the warranty for 3 years from date of manufacture without the receipt. They quickly sent out a brand new replacement. I couldn't believe how willing they were to take care of me!
I have since received the new unit and love it as much as my old one.
