Pros: Excellent engine, incredible suction power, tilting collector, chrome fittings , easy set-up
Cons: Velcro closures for rear opening get clogged full of leaf debris.
I purchased the Cyclone Rake Commander in September 2012. Setup was very easy. The first time I used it, WOW! This is one powerful machine. I have about one acre of heavily-wooded lawn. In the fall, I get falling leaves by the truckload. The Cyclone Rake zipped through those leaves quickly and easily. This year, doing the leaves was actually enjoyable. I was able to do the leaves by myself in under two hours whereas it used to be an all-day affair. The Cyclone Rake is built extremely well with high-quality hardware. The B&S Vanguard engine is top of the line. My neighbor has an AgriFab lawn vac. When you put it beside the Cyclone Rake, you realize how cheaply it is made compared to the Cyclone Rake. For example, the B&S Intek engine is a piece of junk compared to the Vanguard. The fittings, deck adapter, vacuum hose, etc. are so cheap compared to the Cyclone. My honest advice to you (the same that I would give to my son and family), don't waste your time or money on cheap substitutes because you will quicly end up paying the difference in parts and repairs. You won't go wrong with this machine.
