Pros: No stopping it, works better than advertised, great customer service, made in USA.
Cons: Pricey, a little noisy
Just spent 3 weeks up to my *** in leaves. I have about one acre to mow/rake with 72 trees just in my front yard. I purchased the Cyclone Rake Commander Pro 3 weeks ago. Bought it because of all the good reviews after thinking about it for 2 years and trying to make a couple home made models that didn't work very well.
Fairly easy to assemble and a couple bolts were missing but customer service sent them and had them in 3 days.
I really expected something better than my home made ones. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. There's no stopping this thing. I blew a bunch of leaves down a hill to a path I have, tractor bouncing over the piles - but the leaf rake just ate em up - unbelievable. Engine starts first pull every time. The 2 point hitch just takes some getting used to, but works well. The single wheels I ordered as stock would be a good upgrade to the double wheels. The single ones can rip up the lawn with sharp direction changes. Easy to unload as I just back it up to the edge of the woods and tilt. It's somewhat noisy, but not much more than my 18HP tractor, get ear muffs (hearing protectors). I bought the power vacuum hose - works very well, but trying to keep the hose from rubbing the pavement and wearing the hose is tough, best to have a helper. Use a leaf blower to blow leaves out of flower beds etc and into the lawn and use the mower and rake. Pricey, but about the same as other brands and worth the money. Haven't put it away yet, but the fold up and low storage space is another reason I chose the Cyclone over others.
