Pros: Nice taste; Versatile; No fat at all; Low calories
Cons: A few less- than- ideal ingredients
Healthy eating can include a wide assortment of different foods and one that often appears on these healthy lists is yogurt. I consume yogurt in some form every week and one brand/flavor I have grown to like is Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor.
Basics of This Product:
Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is a creamy, vanilla flavored product made in the Greek yogurt style for extra protein and other nutritional benefits. The yogurt is creamy, a little less thick than other Greek yogurts, and ready to eat straight from the small bowl.
Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is sold in a 5.3 ounce container and is packaged in pairs. It costs a little more per package than regular yogurt, but is considered better for health and worth the price. Besides the vanilla, it comes in flavors such as strawberry, blueberry, peach, raspberry, key lime, banana cream, and toasted coconut vanilla.
Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is made using cultured grade A non- fat milk, water, fructose, contains less than 1% of modified corn starch, natural and artificial flavors, sucralose, citric acid, potassium sorbate, acesulfame potassium, and sodium citrate.
A 5.3 ounce (150 gram) serving contains the following:

Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is a good- tasting vanilla dairy product with a good deal of nutrition and very few calories. It is manufactured by Dannon, which is one of the best known names in yogurt and it is easy to find in most grocery stores in the U.S.
I eat a good deal of yogurt each week and I like to alternate my yogurt among different brands and styles. Most all yogurt offers good nutrition, but with Greek yogurt, the protein is ratcheted up a few notches, for added benefit, and the calories and fat are cut. With this product, the consumer gets a full 12 grams of protein and only 80 calories. Add to that the absence of any fat, only 50 mg of sodium, and 7 grams of sugar and you have a nutritional package that is difficult to match.
Considering the taste and texture, this product is reasonably creamy and is a little thinner/runnier than other Greek yogurts I have tried. The flavor is one of mild vanilla. You can certainly tell the flavor is one of vanilla, but it is a little less pronounced than it is with some of the non- Greek vanilla flavored yogurts, some of which have a vanilla flavor approaching that of ice cream.
Another quality I like about Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is that it is a very versatile product. Like with other vanilla yogurts, it is a product that has many uses. It can be used to make smoothies and as an ingredient in other beverages/foods. And some will like adding slices of the fresh fruit of their choosing, directly into the bowl of yogurt, for added flavor and enjoyment.
My bottom line with Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is that it is a very good food, especially when compared to the other processed foods on the store shelves. It has fewer calories than other yogurts, no fat, and a nice flavor and texture. There are a couple of questionable ingredients in the mix, but other than that, Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt Vanilla Flavor is a very good food item for breakfast, lunch, or a healthy snack.
