Pros: comfortable and attractive
Cons: Rigid, risk of twisting ankles resulting in injury
Bought these in a size 8 narrow which were comfortable and good looking until I turned my ankle! Thinking this was an isolated incident I continued wearing them and a time later my ankle turned again, this time I was sure I had fractured some bones! Thank goodness no broken bones only a painful sprain on my left foot and ankle. Then again weeks later my right ankle turned, this time leaving my right foot and ankle in pain. When I mentioned this to a co-worker (who also wears this same style in a regular width) she also reported her ankles have turned at times. I also have heard of others with the same problems. I'm not considered a clumsy individual, am in good physical condition 5'4" and weigh 120 lbs. I will be putting myself at risk if I continue to wear these, I may have some permanent damage already, time will tell. I will be wearing my airwalks to work at the hospital. You will need strong ankles to safely wear these. As a medical worker in Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedics I do not recommend these, BEWARE!!!
