Darla's Peek-a-bears were one of the first WAHM diapers I purchased. After drifting from manufacturer to manufacturer in the big market, the quaint and friendly WAHM's were a fresh of breath air. Here we have mom's, like me, committed to staying home with their children, and sewing in the meantime. Cool! In fact, I was so impressed, that I have since joined the WAHM ranks. But, that is a different story!
I was extremely impressed with the workmanship of these diapers. They rival any of the brand names in design and function. Darla's work is very professional and well thought. Her service was also very good, and the diapers were sent with several helpful papers, including one on how to care for the diapers.
This diaper is constructed with a partially attatched soaker panel, for a quick dry time. Elastic is present at the legs and back, with just enough give. The closures are quality plastic snaps. I found the fit to be comfortable on my daughter, with plenty of growing room!
Peek-a-bears are my diaper of choice for night diapering. Add a doubler and a great wool soaker, and I am all set until morning.
I definately think Darla's diapers are a must have for any cloth diapering family! The price is comparable to other diapers and there is nothing like the feeling of helping a mom stay home with her kids!
