Fluffybeef's Full Review: Dave Barry - Dave Barry's Greatest Hits
Yet again, Dave Barry is chubby yet Episcopalian in his predictability in all his wine-tasting glory. From tupperware to house-cleaning, Barry writes on the most inane subjects. He's like Seinfeld in that he writes on and on about nothing, but it stays true to life and humorous.
His style remains constant throughout. Barry has compiled the best of his newspaper-style articles (funny about that) into one great collection. Actually there are many great collections, but this is great, too.
An example: who hasn't wanted to have his own band? Dave is no exception. At the ripe old age of [middle] he starts a new band called The Urban Professionals and sings about what is important to him: Tupperware. This and many more stories are found throughout his Greatest Hits. They certainly are great. Super great, even.
The book is a lot like his others. In fact, it is his others, but it's the greatest. That's why it's his Greatest Hits. Others you might want to read include Dave Barry Goes to Japan and Dave Barry Will Not Take This Sitting Down. Read! Now! Go!
