Best weather station for under $500

Pros: Very accurate. Computer software (optional) is excellent.

The weather monitor 2 by davis is the best complete METAR weather station for under $500. It has everything required for METAR reporting (wind, wind direction, rain, humitity, dewpoint, temp, and barometric pressure.)

If you are thinking of the Oregon scientific weather stations dont get one, the price might be right, but the accuracy ISNT. I know from experience.

Ive had the weather monitor 2 wireless solar powered weather station for about 4 years and it is flawless. Ive never had to do anything to replace the system. I purchased the weather system for $795. You can get the cheapest prices at http://www.defenderus.com. Search under davis in their online catalog.
