I wanted to love this product. I bought it at Williams Sonoma, mostly because it's such a good looking appliance and has a snazzy European name.

First off, the interface is strange and the unit utilizes anoying, high pitched buzzing sounds in lieu of bells to let you know when your food is done.
Second, there is a loud ticking that occurs as it reheats constantly.
Next, after about three months of use my electronic read out failed when some of the bulbs went out. I thought this wasn't a big deal, but the numbers were difficult to read.
Finally after six months of use, the toaster died. I didn't use it all that hard: morning toast and the occassional mini corn dog. To be honest I'm glad it died because I'm sick of hearing the high pitched sounds it would put out.
I'm sticking with Black and Decker toaster ovens since I've had more luck with that brand.
