Pros:Front loading water reservoir, front loading coffee grounds.
Cons:Stopped working after 2 months, Clock and automatic timer, De'Longhi Customer Service
I purchased this coffee maker because I had recently relocated and there was not a coffee shop nearby. I bought the coffee maker 19 Sept 2010 at Lowe's for $59. The coffee maker had an automatic timer and a clock which were easy to program; however, there was no reverse button, so if you went past the time you wanted to set, you had to go through an entire 24 hr cycle to get back. The front loading access for coffee grounds and water were plusses. The brewed coffee tasted great.
Approximately two weeks ago (o/a 10 Nov 2010) the coffee maker just stopped working. I contacted the De'Longhi customer service center via email and provided them with the particulars of my problem. In addition, I provided them all of the required information on the make and model of the coffee pot. Customer service then emailed me and told me that they "valued my patronage", etc, etc. but the 1 year limited warranty period was over.
I would not recommend this product to a friend, acquaintance, or an enemy. If you value your time and your money, please do not purchase this coffee maker for yourself or anyone else.
