Used this fryer in a professional restaurant for more than two years before it burned out. Was on for 10 hours a day, 7 days a week during that time. Tough little appliance for the price, can't beat it. Used it for smaller fried foods-crab cakes, risotto cakes, breaded goat cheese, string potatoes, and the like. Highly recommend it, just bought the next version of this model to replace its fallen comrade.
