Pros:it is beautiful looking oven. buttons have pro look about them, nothing else good

Cons:underpowered elements, should be wider, toaster feature is reliant on timer button

The Bottom Line: don't buy this model, the heating elements are weak, it takes too long for oven to warm up. toaster only works with timer button. can't fit 12inch pan across

i bought this model from for 79.00 from Linens and Things. it was originally priced at 99.00 dollars in the store.it is the non convection model;by the way. i bought it because of the beauty of it and my prior experience with a delonghi made me feel i was getting a top of the line product. soon i toasted my first slice of bread with it i knew it was a piece of garbage. firstly the heating elements take longer to heat up than any that i've seen prior (even the cheapie at my job heats faster). the toaster control is not it's own separate entity; for example say you don't want to put the toast timer on and you just want both elements to stay on so you can keep loading after toast is done. you can't use the constant "on" button for toasting because it cycles off and on weakly . i had the setting on highest and it takes like 6 minutes to toast another round of bread even after you toasted the first round. it seems to bake "alright" as when i broiled some bacon. but the heat seems uneven and weak inside the oven because some parts of the bacon were singed while other were cooked and undercooked. i didn't have this experience with the prior delonghi or the black & decker(i paid less for both of them. by the way i bought a friend the black and decker pizza model toaster oven with the rubber looking control buttons and am jealous because it works better than the one i bought myself. the long warm up time will definitely cost me in energy bill. i didn't take it back because my macho didn't allow me to show failure in front of my wife. so i'm stuck with it for a year or two.
