Pros: Powerful, sturdy, long battery life, durable, good value; it's perfect for all-purpose use
Cons: No substantial cons
The Bottom Line: For light to medium construction, home projects and heavier screw driving, this tool is excellent; it outperforms 18v models from lower-end makers.
For light tasks, get a dedicated lightweight driver.

I absolutely LOVE this drill kit.
I am not a professional builder, but I engage in lots of home repairs and the occasional construction project.
After spending several weeks of my summer in construction on our new church building, this tool was really put through its paces.
The battery life is excellent - look for the XRP line of products for best performance overall.
The ratcheting keyless chuck is very quick and comfortable. It grips very well, I have not had any problems with slipping, where I have heard of such problems with other products.
Having the two batteries that come with this kit plus a one-hour charger, one would be very hard-pressed to ever have to stop work due to running both batteries out of juice.
It has three torque settings, which allows you to quickly adjust for drilling versus driving screws or other tasks; also its adjustable resistance clutch helps to keep from stripping screws.
This tool is more powerful than some other 18v products I have tried, and is not nearly as heavy.
Working on my deck, removing some old screws, it actually sheared the teeth off of a couple of phillips bits (Ice Bits - they seem to be designed for screwing in not out).
It is also pretty tough so far, having survived a few drops (none over chest height though).
As an add-on, I strongly recommend the conditioning charger, which delivers better charges and longevity to your precious battery packs.
Beware, though, of online auction or one-off sellers who resell this drill with used or reconditioned battery packs; often they sell the XRP drill with standard battery packs!
Buying a replacement battery will cost at least 40% of the original tool kit!
Minor complaints could be found, like the nearly-impossible-to-use bit storage clip or the ability of the torque setting to jam when switching it... but my drill is still very healthy and strong, and I would not trade it for another.
