Pros: expensive, pathetic service, aggravating, you can be ripped off everywhere, limited access service centers
Cons: Simple repairs only takes them a month to fix a trigger
I have a whole box of Dewalt junk that didn't last (all cordless). Batteries never last a year. Impact wrenches, impact drivers, chargers, finish nailers, and angle grinders that quit running before they were used a year. My drills ran after a year but had problems with weak clamshell kits and wouldn't change speeds or wouldn't hammer anymore. We have 1, 1!!! Dewalt repair center in Phoenix, AZ, (th 4th largest city in the US). They won't honor Ebay sales receipts and when you bring in 8 month old batteries you paid $85 with tax they test them and say these still have voltage on them, no adjustment (14 volts after a full charge??? won't run an 18v tool). My Milwaukee tools are in the mail, hope they work well, otherwise, I will use generic. Dewalt can kiss my a**!! They suck.
