Opinion Summary
Fatal Accidents--Scalding, Mauling and Other Natural Disasters in Yellowstone National Park
by martyfig | Apr 03 '01
Pros: First half is filled with natural fatalities serving as useful lessons while touring Yellowstone.
Cons: Second half is not as educational and is more historical. Writing isn't as poignant.

It's a little-known fact that this book was actually adapted from my memoirs, "OMIGOD! Did you drink ALL of it??"--an accounting of my years as an international playboy and celebrated serial widower.

Very fine review...and yes, would we have been pals in college. Between the two of us, we have likely consumed enough financial aid to keep Pat Buchanan in hair spray for the next ll presidential elections.

Martyfig-

I love a good tale of death as much as the next guy, but I don't think I should read this book until after I visit the park-- I'm already somewhat paranoid and this would just push me over the edge (no pun intended)! ...Mark
