MissGladys's Full Review: Black&Decker Extra - Tall Can Opener
This can opener is something I received this past Christmas from my Inlaws. Not that I expected such a gift, asked for this or really even wanted one.
I had a can opener already. Yes, just your ordinary small can opener with a knife and scissor sharpener in the back. Though it was big and bulky, it was just what I needed.
When I first saw what the inlaws bought for me I was a little disappointed knowing I had a can opener that worked perfectly fine. My plan initially was to just put this new can opener in the attic someplace until the day when I would need to replace my old one.
When I brought my new Black and Decker extra tall can opener home it wasn't until a few days later that I decided to remove it from it's box to see what it really looked like.
I was very impressed with it's sleek compact styling and the more modernized look it had. Being that my appliances in my kitchen are all white I figured it was time to replace the old silver can opener I had and use this more sleek stylish model.
Upon placing this onto my counter I noticed how it looked wonderful from afar. It really brightened up the corner it was placed in.
I have to say this Black and Decker extra tall can opener model EC450 has found a place in my kitchen when I thought it never would.
It's tallness is a plus in my home and the fact that it can open up many sized cans is a wonderful thing.
That day I placed it on the counter it just so happened later that night I had to use it to open a can and boy did I love the quite sound and the smooth opening that it did offer. It was quick and easy moreso than I thought it would be.
