Baby powder is a scent that I generally like, so I tried an antiperspirant and deodorant made by Degree called Sheer Powder Invisible Solid, a product made for women.

This comes in a 1.6 ounce container with a wide lever at the bottom that turns (in the direction of the arrow) to roll up the product.

My Thoughts

This deodorant/antiperspirant is a solid white substance, and although it claims to be invisible, it isn't totally invisible.  I am wearing a black sweater today and the deodorant did leave a slight residue on it, but it isn't very noticeable.  It also comes out when I wash my clothes.  The hint of white is noticeable on dark clothing but not very noticeable on light colors. 

When wearing long sleeved sweaters this isn't a problem, but it can be annoying when wearing a dark shirt that is sleeveless.  I opt to use my Avon roll on deodorant on those occasions. 

I love how easy Degree is to apply!  It feels like liquid silk being applied to my underarms.  It glides smoothly and covers completely and quickly. 

Typically I don't perspire a lot, but this does keep me dry and odor free.  In fact, when I apply it I often smell like baby powder, which is a scent I love, but hubby isn't too crazy about it and it can definitely be noticed by others because it's almost like wearing a perfume.

My skin is on the sensitive side but I have not had any issues while wearing Degree.  It doesn't cause my underarms to itch and it doesn't form a thick layer on my skin and it isn't sticky like some deodorants can be.  Unlike a roll on that goes on wet, this applies dry so there is no waiting for it to dry before I can get dressed.

The active ingredient in Degree Sheer Powder is aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex GLY (18.2%), which is the ingredient that controls perspiration.  Degree is manufactured by Unilever and retailed for around $4.50 in our area. 

Warnings

As with all topical products, there are warnings about usage on the back of the plastic container.  It should be kept out of the reach of children, not applied to broken skin (so gals be careful if you nick yourself while shaving your underarms), stop use if rash occurs, amd ask a doctor about use if you have kidney disease.
