| footballjock's Full Review: Dell Dimension 2350 (D235RL) PC Desktop |
I ordered the Dimension 2350 with a 15" flat panel monitor, 1.7 Ghz CPU, 30 gig Hard-Drive, 40X10X40 CD-RW, 256 DDR-Ram, Harmon/Kardon Speakers, and of course free shipping.
Shipping was very fast, I received the Dimension 2350 in less then 4 days.
Hardware setup was simply plugging in the keyboard/mouse and speakers to the color coded jacks.
Software Setup was just a matter of signing up to an Internet service provider.
Dell gives you free AOL service for 6 months.
The PC case has a durable coating, 2 USB ports and earphone jack in the front, 2 USB ports, 1 microphone, 1 earphone in back.
The case has thick rubber feet to absorb vibration, the cooling fan is quite and the case is easy to open.
The dimension 2350 will handle most games just fine, if you are a serious gamer you may want to consider upgrading the video card.
I have downloaded and viewed movies with no problems, the play back was very clear and fast.
The Harmon Kardon speakers sound crisp and clear and have a classy appearance.
The Dimension 2350 is one of the best systems for the money available on the market today.
Remember, Dell allows you to configure any system the way you want and it's much cheaper to upgrade the system before it's built.
