I am a huge fan of Dell Computers. I have owned other brands, but all of them ended up being major disappointments. So, when the time came that I needed to buy a new one I went with the Dell PC Notebook. I have also owned desk tops as well as laptops, both of which I feel have pros and cons, but this time I chose to go with a laptop for added mobility.

The screen is the perfect size for me. I struggle with seeing some fonts, but I seem to do just fine with this unit. I ordered it with the high-gloss screen, which I thought would be better however I wish I hadn’t. The glare of peripheral lighting seems to be unavoidable.
The speed and overall ability of the unit is wonderful. Quick connections to the internet, quick program responses, and plenty of storage space. I do prefer to save my photos and music on other peripheral items so maybe that is what keeps up the speed for my unit, but I am certain there is plenty of space to handle to job.
I am not a fan of Vista, so I paid extra to change over to Windows XP which was not difficult. Other functions such as burner are adequate. The burner is certainly not the best on the market, but it gets the job done. If I were using it in a professional capacity, I probably would have paid to upgrade it.
