smartstartk9's Full Review: Delphi SKYFi3 XM Radio Receiver with Car Kit
Years ago, no one thought cable TV would take off. Why pay for TV when you can get it for free? That's what everyone thought.
The Delphi unit works well, although you do get some breakup in bad weather. You really do need to purchase the additional XM Modulator to get the benefits of digital sound.
As for the actual unit,here are some things I did and did not like:
Likes: The unit is removable, so you can remove it from your car or use it in your home or another vehicle. It operates well and requires minimal maintenance.
Dislikes: It would be nice if they could make a screen that was less susceptible to glare. Also, the buttons are small and close together (almost impossible to use while wearing gloves).
Make sure your unit is mounted high in your car, so you can see the screen easily. We mounted ours low and it is difficult to see while driving.
