Pros: Clarity, signal processing, inputs, ease of use
Cons: Remote can be improved.
The Bottom Line: Solid build. Quality sound. Great DSP. Plenty of power for in-home use. Lots of inputs. The 2802 will be an excellent addition to any high quality home theatre system.

| Shnit's Full Review: Denon AVR-2802 6.1 Channels Receiver |
I did a lot of research before buying this receiver. I must say that this complements my simple system perfectly. I have the following setup:
- Panasonic Tau 36" HDTV
- Denon AVR-2802
- Energy Encore Speaker System (4 satellites, 1 center and powered subwoofer)
- X-Box Game Console
Pretty simple setup, but excellent, crisp, clear and natural sounds. It was as if the receiver was made for my Energy speakers. The sounds from movies are just so natural and clean. Music is beautiful and a much bigger improvement than the Denon 1400 that I replaced. Playing games such as HALO in 5.1 DD is absolutely amazing and involving.
I tried Sony, Marantz and the Integra, but the Denon edged out.
A great receiver that should be able to handle any home theatre needs for years to come.
