As I sit here and listen to D12 - Devils Night, to me it's easy to see the comedic value of this great cd. To start, one characteristic of Eminem albums and now this album too is a public service announcement in the beginning of the album. For this album, it goes something like....
If you get offended by words like biatch, ho, sissy, fuggot, homo, lesbian, fudge-packer, cl1t-eater, all that shiat like that, then you should turn this shiat off right now. Cause thats just some of the shiat, no, thats the only shiat your gonna hear right here on this album. Etc.......
Now if you are a fan of Eminem, then you know he just raps about the type of material he does to mess with people's mines and point out things in society that is messed up and singing about it. D12 doesn't do this so much, they just sing about fecked up things. But they do it in a funny way.
If you are an eminem fan or like to hear funny lyrics with tight beats, then you'll like this album. Some of MY personal favorite songs on the album are "Fight Music", "Nasty Mind", and "Revelation".
Also on the album is a hidden track dissing on Limp Bizkit, Whitey Ford, and DJ Lethal. This is one of the phattest songs on the cd I think, and should definately be listened to.
All in all, this album is great for cruisin downtown, rollin on dubs, bumpin your shiat. But one thing you gotta remember, "Shiat can Happen" hahahah.
