Pros: NOTHING..Sounds OK

| herzeleid's Full Review: Rio Diamond Monster Sound MX300 |
What a pain...I have yet to enjoy my new computer because I bought this sound card. My brother and I have the same parts in our PCs with the exception of the sound card; I have the Monster 300 and he has the Blaster Live!. Yet, his works perfectly and mine never does. There are no drivers for it because DiamondMM stopped making it. I have no respect for companies who stop supporting their products after discontinuing them. What's going to happen with Windows XP comes out...that should be fun to see. Everytime I re-install Windows, I get IRQ Conflicts 4 out of 5 tries. Its moody.
Sound is ok and but the 4 speaker output is a little strange to hookup. Software eats up too much resources and space and the DOS drivers used to drag my Win98 bootup.
In short, don't get it if you already haven't. I am saving enough money for a Blaster X-Gamer which I heard is awesome.
