| katjmartell's Full Review: Diaper Doublers |
My son was wearing overnights at night and leaking every night. We were having to change him at least two or three times during the night.
Someone told me about Diaper Doublers, and we tried them - no more leaking! We don't even use Overnights anymore - we just use the doublers in a regular diaper. Phew! Sometimes we do still have to change him once during the night, as he's a big wetter, but the doublers have meant more sleep for all of us.
I wanted to mention that the lady who said she tried putting one under running water and it didn't absorb - even a diaper will do that. The material that goes next to baby's skin is made to keep the wet feeling away. When fluid sits on it, it soaks through into the pad.
My neighbor tried them and said that her two boys woke up more, as they now had a huge wet bulging diaper with the pad in it, but I guess my son doesn't mind that. He only wakes up if he actually feels wet on his skin or clothing.
