I have such severe allergies that I've been on allergy shots most of my life. On bad days I supplement with OTC and prescription allergy medicines. I've tried about every OTC and prescription allergy medicine over the course of my 30 years to the point where most, if they ever did work for me, don't anymore.
This is one product that not only tastes good, but works for several hours and keeps working even with heavy use for years and years--you don't build up a tolerance for it to where it stops working for you. It works as well ten years down the road as it did the first time.
I take a lot of OTC and prescription medicines due to allergies, thyroid and triglyceride problems, but I have never had any interactions with this and any other drug. I haven't experienced any side effects such as excitedness or sleepiness. It's great for daytime use, because it won't make you drowsy.
It comes with a dosage cup, so you don't have to buy a separate cup or guess with a teaspoon. You can take up to 4 doses a day, if you need to, but sometimes 2 will do it. Even with heavy allergy days, and I'm so bad I've been almost hospitalized for allergies, 4 doses is enough.
The ingredients are artificial flavor, citric acid, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C red no. 40, glycerin, high fructose corn syrup, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, water. It comes in several different sizes, up to 12 oz if you're really bad off and need to stock up. It relieves nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy/watery eyes. It works!! Over and over, for years!!
Enough with the bad tasting decongestants and antihistamines--here is one that tastes great and works better! It says it's Children's Dimetapp, but it works just as well on adults. I'm 30 and I use it all the time. So does my husband.
