This medicine is a God sent! When my little girl's nose is running off of her face and there's no sign of it stopping any time soon, I give her this. This is what the nurse at my Pediatrician's office recommends.
This stuff tastes good, so she takes it willingly, plus it works! It helps that runny nose and any cough that might be with it. These runny noses are usually allergy related and living in Texas it seems that they are always flaring up, so I keep my medicine cabinet stocked with Dimetapp! Yep the purple stuff!
It will relieve the symptoms for up to 4 to 6 hours, and that's a relief to me because if there's one thing that I can't stand it's a snot nosed kid! YUCK!
There is one thing though, it makes her very drowsy and it usually knocks her out for a few hours, but hey, who's complaining? She probably needed the sleep anyway, plus mom needed the break!
If your child suffers from allergies that makes their nose run off of their face, try this, it's last one you'll use! It really works!
