Little Tykes draws in my daughter again.

Pros: No assembly required. Kids can play for hours.
Cons: If lid is not snugly, the sand can mildew from the moist night air.
The Bottom Line: My daughter will get hours of enjoyment. So can yours.

This pass weekend, I went to visit my in-laws out of state. While there, my daughter and I spend some time with my 2 yr. old nephew. Since then, all I have heard is how she just has to have a Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box
The Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box is exact what it sounds like. A dinosaur with sand in it. He's body is purple, while his back AKA the lid, is yellow. He has the cute's grin on his face. Makes you want to love him.
The Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box is constructed of the hard durable plastic Little Tykes is famous for. It can with stand about any-
thing. Which is a good thing in our family. *smile*
The ages on the package is 2-5 years old. This is due to the size of the dinosaur., which is approximately 4 foot by 1 foot.However, my daughter is on the small size for 7 years old, so she and my nephew had no problems playing inside of it together.
Another feature my daughter really likes is the flat surface around the edges. She could sit there or place her toy bucket there while filling.
The Little Tykes Sand Box can hold up to 300 lb. of play sand. It does not come with sand. You can purchase play sand at any lawn care type store. Also you may check at the store where you purchase the Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box at, I know Toys R Us sell play sand. The sand comes in 50 lb. bags, so be sure you have a strong back to load and unload.
**Note** Please be sure you purchase play sand and not construction sand Construction sand is orange and very course.
While regular play sand is not.
At this time, my nephew only has about 150 lb. of sand in his dinosaur. Which is plenty for him, plus they may want to change it at some point. The Little Tykes Dinosaur sand Box comes with a drainage plug. It can be used as a sand box or small wading pool. If you don't plan on emptying any time soon, be sure to place in an area you want it to stay in.
I want to comment on something here. The Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box will fade someday. Just like any other yard toy. But care when placing it, can prolong the color.
I do plan to purchase one for my daughter next week. However, I need to wait until I can use the truck. Because the Little Tykes Dinosaur Sand Box does not require any assembly. Which makes it to big to fit in my Saturn *smile*
