First of all, it took for ever to find the "on" button. My housekeeper could not find it, nor could I, so we had to look in the instruction manual. It is a pedal that is hidden from view when you are looking down at the vaccuum.
Second, the power cord comes out from the bottom of the unit, so I run over it all the time. The cord is always in the way when I vacuum back and forth, so I have to hold the cord out with one hand while I push with the other. This makes it harder to push the vacuum, as it is rather heavy and not self-propelled.
Third, I've only had the vacuum for three years and it has completely stopped working. It has only been moderately used--I only vacuum about once a week. Because you remove the whole canister to empty it, after a while the seal doesn't close tightly anymore when you put the canister back in place. The "cyclone" action stopped working some months ago. The vacuum is basically useless now
