msreid's Full Review: Disney Hannah Montana 15" LCD TV 15 in.
It was time to get a television for our six year old daughter's room. We looked into smaller sets, and wanted something that would grow with her. We did not plan to hook the set up to our satellite system, but instead to coordinate with a DVD player so she could watch movies in her room from time to time.
The Hannah TV was sure to please --- her at least -- just because it's Hannah. But we needed something that would be easy for her to operate, reliable, with a decent picture quality.
The set is incredibly cute. For whatever that's worth! (If you're six, apparently, it's a big deal.) The remote is easy to operate and very straightforward.
It's lightweight, which is nice. Not so lightweight that she can move it around, but not so heavy that it overpowers kid sized furniture. The size is perfect for a kid's room. At 15 inches, it's just right.
The picture quality is just so-so. Kind of dark. But so far, we've had no issues with it and she adores it. For an LCD at this price, we're okay with that.
The DVD player that matches it (separate purchase required) is adorable and the way the two fit together if very cool.
For the price, it's a good deal.
It was very easy to set up, and all the wires are in the back.
