Pros:The pros in this product were the delightful childrens song that it would play.
Cons:The cons in this product were the difficulty in making the toy crawl and the lack of interest my child showed in it.
At Christmas time I purchased a "Musical Touch and Crawl Minnie" for my eight month old daughter (at the time). Of course at Christmas time these toys were really hard to come by. It took a lot of shopping around to finally find one at a decent price.

I purchased this toy for my daughter in hopes that it would help her to learn to crawl. I am really not so sure that it did help her though. My daughter really did not seem all that interested in it. Usually she would just end up picking up the "Minnie Mouse" and turning it on its side. So the toy could not actually crawl anywhere. It ended up looking kind of like a turtle that was flipped over on its back. Perhaps my child was interested in the toy for a short while, but I think that was only because of the music that it played. The "Musical Touch and Crawl Minnie" does play some delightful children's songs for the child.
I also found the toy rather difficult for a small child to use. Sometimes I was unable to make it crawl. It usually took a good strong hit in order to make the toy crawl. This could be why my child usually ended up turning the toy on its side, because she just did not know what else to do with it.
I would have to say that this toy really did not serve its purpose. I think my child just learned how to crawl in her own time and in her own way. She did not need some toy to tell her what to do. After all, isn't crawling just an instinct anyway?
