Pros:Easy to use, works great
Cons:Pointy edges on Pooh Clip
The Bottom Line: I think this attacher does its job and its easy to use but there are pointy edges on the Pooh clip. That's my only problem with it.
I have a few pacifier attachers which comes in handy when you don't want a pacifier falling to the ground. One day we were at Wal-Mart and I forgot our little guy's pacifier attacher at home. After his pacifier fell out of his carrier seat a couple times (good thing I brought and extra pacifier), I figured we should pick one up because we had a few other places to go before we went home. I picked up a Disney Winnie the Pooh Pacifier Attacher First Years for only a couple bucks. I have used these attachers with our other kids as well. I just chose this one because it was the cheapest one.
Description
The Disney Winnie the Pooh Pacifier Attacher obviously features Winnie the Pooh. The clip part is Winnie the Pooh and it is made of hard plastic. I will have to say that the Pooh clip looks like an authentic Pooh Bear wearing his little red shirt. The clip part itself measures approximately 2 inches by 1 ½ inches. There is a string attached to the clip that measures 6 inches long. There is a loop at the end of it. The attacher that we picked up has a light green string but you can also buy one that has a red string as well.
Performance/Opinion
I think this is a really cute pacifier attacher although I think there are better ones. I have a couple that I like better and that is because the Pooh clip has a few pointy edges. Attacthing a pacifier to this attacher is easy. All you have to do is wrap the corded string around the loop on the pacifier shield. Then you push Pooh through the loop at the bottom of the corded string. It's very simple. You can use this on a pacifier that has a floppy loop handle on the shield of the pacifier or even use the little holes that are on most pacifier shields. Honestly, using this on pacifiers with one of those floppy handle loops works so much easier!
I love the fact that this attacher is BPA free. I look for that on every baby product that I buy now. Cleaning it is easy. Just use warm soapy water. If it needs cleaned, I usually just wash it when I wash bottles. When using the attacher, make sure that you don't clip it too far away on your babies clothes because if there isn't much slack on the corded string, you may find the pacifier popping out of baby's mouth although I wouldn't recommend putting it close to his face either because like I said, there are a few pointy parts of Pooh. I have never had the clip fall off either. That being said, make sure you pinch up baby's clothes before clipping it on clothes because the clip does clip on tight and you sure don't want to pinch your baby's skin.
I only use the attacher when we are out and our baby is in his carrier seat or in his stroller. I don't leave it attached while he is sleeping. The string isn't very long to wrap around his neck but I don't take the chance. I give this attacher an average rating. It does its job, works great, and is easy to use but I do not like the edges on Pooh. I have others that I prefer to use.
