Coffee pods were new to me. In Europe, I believe, they call them Pads. They are pre-measured amounts of full-bodied coffee packed between two biodegradable filters. But pads or pods, they look like little teabags only they are packed with coffee. (no strings attached.)

And what 'Senseotional' coffee it is! The pods are packed in Belgium from conscientiously chosen beans and as Senseo explains it, blended, roasted and ground by experts.

My Personal Take

I love this coffee. I have tried every flavor and like them all, but my favorite is the DARK ROAST. Delicious!

Did I mention how frothy the coffee is? It is like drinking a Capresso, and makes me feel very Continental. The froth is built into the pod and helps you to savor every drop you drink.

I have never cared for decaffeinated coffee before, but love my after-dinner cup of coffee, so I tried the Douwe Egberts decaffeinated, and it is wonderful. And, best of all, it never interferes with my sleep!
