| lindasing's Full Review: Dove Exfoliating Moisturizing Body Wash |
I happened upon Dove Exfoliating Moisturizing Body Wash in a unique
way. I needed more last minute gifts for my daughters at Christmas and
there on the shelf were gift bags of Dove products. They contained,
Shampoo, Body bar and a large bottle of Dove Exfoliating Moisturizing Body Wash.
Which I purchased at Wal Mart for $9.00. After Christmas one of my daughters
extended her stay at my house and took out the body wash. After showering
she said "Mom you have to try this stuff. It really makes your skin feel
good." So that's exactly what I did and she was right.
My skin tends to be on the dry side and it doesn't help matters when the
Winters in Iowa zap the moisture right out of you. This body wash
exfoliates the dead skin so that you feel polished but still soft. My skin
was always rough and itchy after other body washes that claimed to
be moisturizing. I normally follow up with a natural moisturizer (olive oil) after
showering but even the times that I haven't, my skin still feels soft, not
itchy and dry.
One of the best things I like about this product is that the scent isn't overpowering.
I have very sensitive eyes and strong body washes and even certain shampoo's will
bother my eyes and make them hurt and become bloodshot, ( just from the smell).
It can really be a pain to find something compatible with my sensitivity.
This product doesn't bother me. It's lightly scented.
