Pros: Smells good, moisturizes quite well.
Cons: Too moisturizing for normal hair.

I used to have long hair. It was wavy/curly and always dry on the ends. My favorite shampoo was Matrix Curl.Life shampoo, and my second choice was Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo.
Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo is a rich shampoo that is for dry and or damaged hair. Keeping my hair calm and healthy looking can be a real battle, especially during the dry winter months. I really like this shampoo, because it keeps me from looking like an unmanicured poodle. It is not as quite hydrating as my beloved Matrix Curl.Life shampoo, but it does work. It really did help me manage my hair. It did a good job of cleaning my hair and didn’t seem to strip it of moisture, which a lot of shampoos do. Also, after using Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo my hair doesn’t have the fly away problem that I do with some shampoos, but it isn’t smooth like it is when I use Matrix Curl.Life shampoo. It isn’t my first choice of shampoo, but there are a lot of shampoos that I won’t use because they leave my hair dull and fly away. I hate that. This shampoo doesn’t do that at all.
However, about three weeks ago, I went to the local beauty salon and got my hair cut -- short. Very short. I don’t like it much and really miss my long hair, but that is another story. What is important is that my hair isn’t as dry as I thought it was. I guess it was just the ends that were so dry, and made me think that all of my hair was dry. Now Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo seems too moisturizing for hair. Go figure.
