chiliqueen's Full Review: Dr. Bronner's Bronners Bar Soap Peppermint 5oz
Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castille Soap is a tingly jump start to your bleary-eyed morning bathing ritual. Peppermint oil is a mild stimulant, and creates a pleasant tingly sensation along with the strong peppermint fragrance (the heady peppermint fragrance alone is a great waker-upper, just don't give in to the urge to eat the soap!).
The bar soap is vegan, organic, fair trade and not tested on animals. It's made of saponified coconut, palm, and olive oils, hemp and jojoba oil, organic peppermint oil, mentha arvensis, salt, citric acid and vitamin E, and produces a rich, creamy lather that's not drying or irritating. (If you're sensitive to strong odors, you'll want to steer clear of the Dr. Bronner's scented soaps and opt for the Unscented Baby Mild.)
If you're one of those people who has a hard time rolling out of bed, this will invigorate your senses as soon as you hit the shower (or tub). The strong scent and tingly lather will clear out those mental cobwebs and get you ready for your day. If you're not a big fan of peppermint, Dr. Bronner's also makes several other "invigorating" soaps in addition to peppermint, such as Eucalyptus Oil and Organic Lemon Oil.
