Pros:No leaks. Tabs are made of tape, not velcro.
Cons:Swell largely when infant urinates. Construction not as trim as major brand diapers.
The Bottom Line: Drypers=great diaper, great price
I received two pack of Drypers diapers from my next door neighbor when our child was two weeks old. At the time, my husband and I were pitting Huggies Ultra Trim diapers against Pampers Baby-Dry Thin diapers in the disposable diaper adequacy competition. We were happy to add Drypers to the fray. The result? We were quite impressed with Drypers and prefer them far above Huggies, and slightly below Pampers.
Pros: Inexpensive (though these were given as a gift)
No leaks. Tabs are made of tape not velcro.
Cons: Construction is a little bulky and can give infant the "poufy bottom" look. Become heavy and quite swollen when infant urinates. Tabs sometime are a little faulty when peeling them off the diaper, but the secure the diaper well.
I recommend Drypers to anyone, especially those watching their pennies. When we tested them against Huggies and Pampers we found them to be a surprisingly durable diaper. They beat Huggies all to pieces in that the construction of Drypers tabs are more secure, and Drypers do not leak. Pampers were slightly better than Drypers in their thinner construction, and minimal swelling when infant urinates.
Money talks, and Drypers are a great diaper at a great price
