Pros: Package looks cool and retro
Cons: When asked what kind of coffee you're serving, you're forced to reply, "Dunkin'Donuts!"
The Bottom Line: Gross, gross and grosser

| youdamom's Full Review: Dunkin Donuts Original Blend |
I bought two packages of Dunkin' Donuts coffee after hearing all the buzz about how it was THE BEST coffee around. Even Consumer Reports was raving about it.
I have a burr grinder and an automatic drip coffee maker. I don't think my equipment was the problem. The coffee stinks! My first reaction was that it tasted like burnt diner coffee - you know, the kind they serve even though it's been sitting in the pot for about 5 hours.
It was bitter and had a horrible aftertaste. I don't consider myself a connoisseur of coffee or anything, but I do consider myself a huge coffee drinker. And that, in my eyes, qualifies me as some sort of expert!
All I'm asking for is a smooth blend that is clean and doesn't leave me feeling like a rat just died in my mouth. Dunkin' Donuts coffee is not that.
I'm still scratching my head and wondering why everyone is up in arms over Dunkin' Donuts coffee. My only guess is it gives you that feeling that you just got out of a late night movie and are grabbing a cup of Joe with your honey down at the drive-through. Well, if nostalgia is what you're after, great. If not, I'd keep looking for that perfect cup.
