xcsoulja07's Full Review: Dunlop Grand Prix Extra Duty Tennis Ball Can
I've been playing tennis about a year now and these balls have made up a good amount (probably more than a quarter at least) of what I've played with. They're just good balls.
The first time I used them I was actually using my friends and they were mostly older than two weeks, but even as a new player I could recognize the significant bounce and consistency.
One of the major things that differentiate this from other balls is their color. As it states on the label, they have "14% brighter felt." While that isn't a large percentage, it's clearly visible. They're easy to see on a sunny day and make playing in the sunset easier than normal. The difference isn't huge, but it's noticeable, and quite nice.
They also have a good amount of bounce, and it stays a while too. Although it's mainly comparable to Wilson or Prince offerings, they remain consistently bouncing for as long and sometimes longer than the others. The felt stays intact for just about as long as you have them, and thus the ball stays well cushioned.
These aren't necessarily hard to find, but if you live in a small town they can be at times. I know that in my community they're not available, but we are lacking a pro shop too.
Overall, these are a good ball that's easy to see and lasts a long time. There's only one other ball that compares with these in my opinion, so that's a small category and these fit the bill!
